Tangerine fairy

it was originally supposed to be an orange fairy but I only had tangerines for reference. The way the wings turned out was actually an accident. When I was testing the board I brushed a layer of orange on it to see how the acrylic would take to the wood and in the end I liked how the orange looked showing through the wings outline so i just ended up outlining them and put a light white wash on them. Tangerine fairy is acrylic on a 7 x9 wood craft plaque. She is varnished and smooth and shiny and looks good in kitchens. lol
